A Sheffield family firm. Our machines, our yard, our drivers.

An excavator and a dozer on a concrete yard, with lorries parked in a line behind

Grindlow started in 2004 with two mini diggers and a trailer. Today we run more than 120 machines from our own yard, with our own fitters to keep them working and our own lorries to deliver them.

We're still run by the family that started it, and when you call, you'll speak to someone who knows the machines.

How we work

  • Serviced between every hire

Every machine is checked, greased and cleaned in our yard before it goes back out.

  • Breakdowns sorted fast

If a machine stops on site, our fitters come out to fix it, or we swap it, usually the same day.

  • Straight prices

Hire, delivery and collection are quoted up front, so there's nothing extra when the machine comes back.
